Boston University
MA · AI Readiness #26 of 227
AIREDEX™ Score: 8.9 /10
TerrierGPT gives every BU student campus-wide AI access, while BU Law's Harvey and Legora partnerships put undergraduates in front of professional-grade legal AI before graduation.
Boston University ranks among the strongest AI-ready private universities in the country. AIDA and the university-built TerrierGPT platform put AI tools directly in the hands of every student, faculty, and staff member. The Hariri Institute anchors serious cross-disciplinary research, supported by real federal partnerships including NSF's IAIFI. Curriculum integration reaches across law, business, medicine, and the humanities. BU Law has built Harvey and Legora directly into first-year coursework, giving students hands-on practice with the same contract-review and litigation-research tools used inside major law firms. The school would benefit from a dedicated undergraduate AI degree to match the depth built elsewhere.
