Brigham Young University
UT · AI Readiness #171 of 227
AIREDEX™ Score: 5.7 /10
BYU gives students campus-wide Copilot Enterprise access and a well-equipped HPC cluster with H200 and A100 GPUs. Naming a dedicated AI executive and making a capital commitment would bring governance in line with the tools.
BYU's standalone Machine Learning B.S. gives students a formal credential path that goes beyond tool access. Governance is active with a named committee chair and published guidelines. An AI executive, a capital commitment, and a cross-disciplinary institute would represent the next phase of institutional investment.
