Cal State Fullerton built its own campus AI platform, TitanGPT, and deployed it to all 48,000 students, faculty, and staff in early 2025, while also rolling out ChatGPT Edu systemwide, giving Titans a rare dual-tool AI environment.
Titan undergrads can take an AI and Machine Learning Concentration inside the BS in Computer Science, and access the Titan Supercomputing Center for hands-on compute work. Undergrads outside computing can take PHIL 322, Ethics, AI and Robots, a general education course examining bias, alignment, and the moral questions raised by artificial intelligence. The ETHICAL Principles AI Framework, developed at CSUF and adopted across the CSU system, shapes how AI is taught in courses ranging from U.S. History to Human Communication Studies (HCOM 415).
