Case Western Reserve University
OH · AI Readiness #21 of 227
AIREDEX™ Score: 9.0 /10
Case Western Reserve undergraduates can pursue a full Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence, access more than 100 AI-integrated courses spanning 40 departments, and earn a three-level AI Prompt Engineering certificate open to every student on campus.
Spartans across every discipline build hands-on AI skills through a six-course AI minor and Spartan Answers, a university-built AI assistant available to the whole campus, alongside enterprise-licensed Google Gemini at no cost. The new Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering Building, opening this fall, dedicates one of its eight research labs specifically to AI applications, giving undergrads a direct path from classroom projects into active research. Case School of Engineering already offers a graduate Certificate in Artificial Intelligence; opening a similar credential to undergraduates would be a natural next step for the campus.
