Holy Cross pairs SuarezAI with a Gen AI Literacy Essentials course built in-house by campus staff, framing the whole effort around equity and Jesuit mission rather than treating AI as an add-on. Sociology courses taught by Prof. Jeff Dixon extend that foundation into ethics, bias, and criminal justice at both introductory and senior seminar levels. What the Crusaders have not yet built is a certificate, minor, or concentration that lets students formalize AI skills on a transcript, which other liberal arts colleges are beginning to offer.
