Emory University
GA · AI Readiness #71 of 227
AIREDEX™ Score: 7.9 /10
Emory undergraduates across every major can pursue a standalone AI minor, one of the first curricular offerings under the university's AI.Humanity initiative and open to all disciplines, built around five required courses covering fundamentals, machine learning, natural language processing, and a dedicated AI ethics requirement.
Emory undergrads can also add an AI concentration to a Computer Science degree, take the no-prerequisites DATASCI 185 introduction to AI applications, or work on real client problems through the Center for AI Learning's AI.Data Lab, a 10-week consulting program with sponsors including the Carter Center and Invest Atlanta. The university's AI ethics requirement currently lives within the standalone AI Minor; opening a version of that course to students outside the minor would extend its reach campus-wide.
