IN · AI Readiness #29 of 227
AIREDEX™ Score: 8.8 /10
A standalone B.S. or B.A. in Artificial Intelligence is available from the Luddy School at IU Indianapolis, joining an AI minor open to every major and one of the largest university AI tool rollouts in the country.
IU Indianapolis adds a 16-credit AI certificate and GenAI 101 to that lineup, a free self-paced skills course that has drawn more than 114,000 enrollees across the IU system. The Luddy Artificial Intelligence Center, directed by Shiaofen Fang, anchors campus research and coordinates the AI2 Consortium spanning 14 schools, while a co-op partnership with Eli Lilly gives Luddy and Kelley undergrads hands-on industry experience. A $138 million Lilly Endowment grant supporting IU LAB signals continued institutional investment in AI infrastructure.
