AIREDEX™ Score: 5.8 /10
Marquette launched a required 'AI for All' course for every undergraduate business student in 2025, then added a full Applied Artificial Intelligence in Business major in fall 2026, giving Golden Eagles one of the stronger AI on-ramps among Jesuit universities.
Marquette undergrads can also tap the Ai4Ai Lounge in the Diederich College of Communication, a dedicated AI analytics workspace led by Dr. Larry Zhiming Xu, and the Northwestern Mutual Data Science Institute, which pairs interested students with data scientists at Northwestern Mutual through a structured mentorship program. An AI Discovery Hub is set to open in the Opus College of Engineering in fall 2026, adding a second campus-wide space alongside the College of Business Administration's new major.
