University of Arkansas
AR · AI Readiness #159 of 227
AIREDEX™ Score: 5.9 /10
Arkansas offers free campus-wide access to Google Gemini and NotebookLM, and coordinates its AI strategy through a multi-body governance structure and a new Mid-South AI Research Consortium spanning four universities.
The Fulbright College course "AI For Career Readiness" is open to every major with no prerequisites, and the Google AI for Education Accelerator adds free Career Certificates with a job board reaching Google, Dell, AT&T, Ford, and Southwest Airlines. Undergraduates can request access to the AHPCC's Pinnacle GPU clusters with an instructor or advisor's sponsorship. Arkansas doesn't yet have an undergraduate AI degree or certificate at Fayetteville, unlike SEC peer Kentucky, which launched the Commonwealth's first this fall.
