Boulder expanded its AI steering committee this year with backing from the chancellor, provost, and both senior vice chancellors. Undergrads can tap into the business school, which has woven AI into every core course. Students can also pursue an AI and machine learning concentration through computer science or take a philosophy course built around AI ethics. Federal grants covering fusion, quantum computing, and language models keep several CU labs busy.
