Rochester's Goergen Institute for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence coordinates more than 100 affiliated faculty across campus, and the Greene Center offers IBM SkillsBuild AI Literacy free to every enrolled student. The NYS Center of Excellence internship program places undergrads directly at New York companies on funded data science projects. Mujdat Cetin, the Institute's director, was recently named Rochester's inaugural Vice Provost for Artificial Intelligence, leading development of a university-wide AI strategy.
