Wright State University-Main Campus
OH · AI Readiness #214 of 227
AIREDEX™ Score: 4.3 /10
Wright State is the second four-year public university in the country in Intel's Digital Readiness Program, which brings AI into every discipline at the Raj Soin College of Business and opened a Business AI minor to all majors in 2025.
Raider undergrads reach serious computing power early: a June 2026 partnership with the Ohio Supercomputer Center gives students large-scale GPU time for coursework and research, alongside a 36-node cluster on campus. Undergraduates write departmental honors theses and work as scientific programmers in the KASTLE Lab, which runs a $2.5 million Department of Education project led by Cogan Shimizu to build AI curriculum from rural high schools through college.
